What client are you guys using on your macs? I went to the stanford site to download their mac client and all I got was a page not found error. There download list works but when you click to actually download the program the page isn't found.

Apple can't delay the powermac much longer. It's holding back all their products. They can't release new Powerbooks until the 1.25s arrive. How would it look if you could get a 1GHZ powerbook for $3200 and the 1.25s aren't even out yet. I still say they'll be out early october.

And as for new Powermacs, expect to wait 6 months after the 1.25s are released. So for now it looks like spring time. So kiss goodbye the G5s in January becuase anyone expecting them is going to be throughly disapointed.

I've decided to test "My Living Desktop" in the second Lion's preview and, for my surprise, it is running. But when I try to register it says that I can register only as Administrator ( well, I am the administrator...at least I think I am... :) ). The pop up says that I have to log off and log on as administrator...How can I do that?...I mean How can I install a software that says that I can run it only if I am the administrator?...:D

Not used this feature for a long time, so surprised was me when i found out that Apple have changed everything.

Instead of listing every duplicated song , it just displays only one instance of a song.

Is there any whay to turn it back to the old way of
"Show Duplicates?"

Looking to sell my 8GB iPhone. It's in pretty good shape. The chrome bezel is scratched up from using one of those skins initially. There is also a very small subtl dent in the back. I have no idea how it got there as I have never dropped it. Other then that it is mint. Email is very important to my job and the iPhone is just not cutting it so I am back to a Blackberry.

I am asking $225 firm. This includes shipping. Payment via Paypal and I will only ship to an address in the continental US.

TMZ, and other radio stations here in LA, call this album a pure handout made for executives to capitalize on the death of MJ. Christmas season, cmon they want people to buy this and make huge money out of a guy that is dead.... and people are saying these aren't even his words. MJ was a perfectionist and this album is Britney Spears material. The first song or single is about MJ talking about himself in first person....with a weird techno beat...highly unusual of him

I'm using the account root on Mac OSX Leopard.. When I sign in, I have to type "root" as the username. Ichat and Adium display my name as "System Administrator".
BUT, I went to Accounts and changed both the Computer name and Account name.. to Joey. So why can't I sign in as "Joey", and why doesn't Ichat and Adium show my username as "Joey"?

Hey all. I can't believe what just happened over my Thanksgiving break! My employer offered me an upper level marketing position for the marketing company I worked for as an intern for years. :) What does this have to do with a feeler thread you ask haha. Plain and simple, the company is giving me a nice Dell Latitude loaded with Adobe Creative Suite CS2 and QuarkXPress 6.1! Yeah, its windows I know, but its worth it for a free computer with all that software. I really should sell my PowerMac that I just got not more than a few weeks ago (used) since it really won't be used much at this point.
