Um no, hemophiliacs and it getting in to the straight population is what caused the growth in awareness.
Umm...no- us getting loud about it is what caused awareness. Don't try to rewrite history- I lived through that crap and watched it happen.
When did man-man or woman-woman sex produce children?
When did a man and woman who are sterile ever produce children? You have no point and no ground to stand on. Bottom line- gay people have kids, that's a fact. Whether or not you choose to recognize it has very little to do with reality.
For those of you looking for just the kind of person I am talking about- well, here he is- CaoCao. CaoCao cannot be reasoned with or negotiated with. No matter what anyone says or proves, CaoCao does not care. He is interested in destroying, or at least settling for harming, people like me. He does not simply want to peacefully coexist and have an opinion. He wants us put in our place.

thanks! I was hoping however that it would be a free solution. :(
I don't remember paying anything for those. Look them up if you have the time. If I knew how to take just the icon out of the set and post it, I would. Sorry.

when using Safari on my iPad 2, whenever i click on a link middle page down and then hit the back button, instead of going back to the middle part of the page i came from, it goes all the way the top of the web page. this is so annoying. is there a trick to solve this? thanks.

I did, in fact, mean using JavaScript on page load to disable the user from changing the size of the textarea, not within my browser. It's like using CSS to disable the dotted border Firefox puts around links when they are active.
Form elements, and the divs that contain them, often need either fixed widths or have widths that are proportional to their containers.
Take Google (http://www.google.com). Depending on how the layout is set up (this is just hypothetical), resizing the search box would push those three links next to it off into oblivion if they were all in a div that was fixed or proportional to the page width. It doesn't matter if Safari "dynamically redraws the page" since the div would still be calculated to be the same. Worse yet, depending on its overflow attribute, they could be pushed onto a new line.
I'd really not like to see Safari become the next IE 5. It already has its share of JavaScript bugs. This would just mean us designers would have to spend that much more time envisioning what would happen if a user resized every form element on every page and incorporating it into our layouts. This is why I hope there's a way to disable it outright.
I hope you remember the user CSS take precedence, the user can choose a minimum font size and run an extension like nonscript to firefox so by default
no javascript would run.
The Web is based in that is the reader the one that decide how a page would look if you do not like that begin to design magazines or book.
Note: the noscript funcinality is something I would like to see added to safari.

Yes, I can... and that would be awesome! It's nice that you can connect your iPod to the car stereo (if it has a line-in), but just another expensive gadget you need to carry around all the time and overall very expensive. Since years I am waiting for a car stereo that is capable of using SD or CF cards. MP3 playback from CDs is already no issue anymore since years. When the next logical step is finally coming?

DreamStream is an application designed to help you fall asleep, whether for a nap, or for the night. Much like pricey noise machines you may have seen in high-end specialty stores, DreamStream plays soothing sounds for a set period of time, while you drift off to sleep. The Sleep option plays your sounds while you fall asleep for the night -- need 30 minutes? 3 hours? You decide. The Nap option plays you to sleep, then wakes you up to a different sound. Doze off on your lunch hour, and still be back in the office when you need to be. Whether you find it easier to sleep to the sounds of a rainstorm, a gurgling creek or the hum of the big city, there's sure to be a sound that will resonate with you.
Current sounds include creeks, waterfall, surf, rain, traffic, and forests, with plans to add more. Let us know if there's a sound you would like us to add. Just a note: There is currently no actual white noise sound included, as that's something widely available elsewhere. If we get many requests for it, it may be added in a future release.
Current alarms sounds include alphorns, barking, tower bells, crickets, an old phone, a rooster and more.
Download (http://itunes.apple.com/app/dreamstream/id393346001?mt=8&ls=1) from the App Store and give it a shot. We hope youll like it!

NOTE:
DreamStream is an app that I originally wrote specifically for my lovely wife using sounds (the Hankins Gulch Creek sounds as well as the Alphorns were personally recorded by me) that were special to her. With her encouragement, I expanded the range of sounds to give it a broader appeal and prepped it for distribution on the App Store. We hope that you find it as pleasant to use as we have.

All I can say is its about freakin' time. Next, how about a dynamic web-based interface for iDisk, so Windoze users don't have to install an application to use it from the desktop, and with the ability to individually password-protect folders?

If some web pages would "break" if you resize a text area, why is it such a problem? If I broke a web page by resizing, I'd simply drag it back to a "good" size again, and be no worse off than before. If it redraws dynamically it'll be quite obvious as you drag.
Having a screen come out wrong is already the case with many websites if I resize my browser window to make it very skinny, yet I don't hear people complaining that browsers allow you to do that.

It's already been reported that Lion Server will improve file sharing with Windows 7 (and of course, the mail service will work with the right client app), but what about other services? Can a Windows client log in with a network account?
Thanks!
With the removal of samba from mac server, it seems that windows network logins won't work. sorry!

well guys i'm finally moved into the new house, and finally got internet going today. but the internet is terrible here, no cable - just DSL @3.0 mbps.
i just got 4 x 260's folding at the moment.
i will crank up some of the other rigs during the week or weekend.
during the move, for some reason my hard drive crashed on my main folding rig. i had to replace the hard drive, and i got it running as a hackintosh at the moment (while i didn't have internet; just to play around with) but i still have to install windows on it and get everything setup.
looks like everyone has been folding well while i've been out the last couple of weeks though. great job everyone! :)
we are now #62 overall though. hopefully we can continue to get better.

Question...anyone know where i can change the SD card and jumpdrive icons in Candybar?
I thought they showed up in the Device pane when they were plugged in. Is that not how it works with jump drives and SD cards?
