Hey guys,
Anyone know of any drivers for a Linksys wireless USB Adapter for OS X?
I have a TiVo with the home media option, and would like to stream music etc, but I can't get the Mac or the TiVo to see the Adapter.
Needless to say, it came with a CD ROM stuffed with WIndows drivers.....

I'm sure TJMax is rethinking how brilliant their idea is. But is it really illegal? What can Apple do?
It's not "illegal", so there's nothing that could really happen to TJ Maxx. But the 3rd party that supplied them to TJ Maxx COULD lose their ability to receive Apple products (assuming they are a authorized reseller). This happens in my industry all the time (golf course management) with golf equipment, and the major manufacturers always go after these leaks and cut them off. The other thing that happens in my industry is that when a product is purchased from a non-authorized retailer, the manufacturer will typically void any warranty associated with it. I doubt Apple would do that to people who purchased an iPad through TJ Maxx, but if it's legal in the golf equipment realm, it might be within their rights here too.

Santa was very good to me this year, like always. My "main" gift was a WiFi+3G Kindle with the Amazon case and a extended two year warranty, I've been wanting this for a while. I also got a bunch of Blu-Rays, lots of Amazon gift cards (according to the package two of them were from my dogs.lol), iTunes gift cards, some cloths, a new tripod for my DSLR, a really nice bracelet, and a few other nice stocking stuffer items.

Also, how the hell are you supposed to play the Swordquest games without the manual and comic books?
It is nice to see Waterworld though as the contest for it never happened and the cartridge was printed in very limited supplies.
Looks like the manuals come with. check out the video embedded in the story.

?Because there will usually be an app available for both. It's not the os being different. It's screen size and resolution that there is distinction.
They are basically the same, just slightly different layout for the iPad.
What you're saying makes no sense. If they're the same, why do they need different versions of the same application? Do different versions of the same application exist for the different flavors of windows 7? Are there different versions of the same application for laptops and desktop computers?

This is why carrier competition is important. The T-Mobile deal needs to be struck down by regulators.
Agreed, I'm still surprised by the amount supporters of this 'deal' in an earlier thread on this board. The only winners are Deutsche Telekom (as they get to dump a barely profitable enterprise) & ATT.

No. You should upgrade to 10.5 anyway since you use it as a file server and 10.5 has much better local networking capability and a built in VNC client to remotely control it from your other Macs.
For your needs 10.5 makes a lot of sense.

I know rumors aren't good to use, but I'm sure there were pre-production parts for the iPhone4 showing up by this time last year, maybe the fact that there isn't gives more credibility to the next version coming later.
Keep in mind that they totally revamped the form last year. They might not do that this year so the iPhone 5 touchscreen could be the same as the iPhone 4. So these suppliers might not know that they are building parts for the new one
I disagree, whether you call it a refresh or all new phone, several things must be addressed by Apple in the current model:
1. replace back glass with metal or carbon fiber enclosure;
2. replace antenna design;
3. use 4" screen, even at same resolution;
4. offer 64gb model.
Or not. Apple is not required to follow your wish list about any product. No matter how clever you think your ideas

If you right-click iTunes in the Finder and choose "Show Package Contents", you will find graphic files in different sizes (cd, dvd jacket) for all the genres iTunes recognizes. I believe it is possible to add your own graphics/genres provided you follow the naming convention.

I just did an update to iTunes and now when I try and launch the application I am getting a message: The folder "iTunes" can not be found or created and required. The default location for the folder is inside the "Music" folder. I can select "choose library" but it will not allow me to select iTunes.
Any ideas what I can do?
