the guy who won the auction emailed me shortly after the auction had ended. i gave him my phone number and he called me. very nice guy. at first, he was going to pay for the 2-day shipping for $75 but then he had an idea that he could get a co-worker who works here in dallas to bring the cash in hand to pick it up. NICE!
he called me back to confirm and a guy by the name of Juan is going to meet me at my work tomorrow to exchange the cash for the 360.
gotta love it!

If you like fingerpicking, you will want to listen to Fink (http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=fink+ninja+tune&search_type=&aq=f).

If a customer jailbreaks the iPhone, Apple blacklists the device and turns the water hose on the "offender." So what happens when the jailbreaker is a telecom company?

if it's still under warranty, take it in. If they apple guys find something wrong, it'll get replaced under warranty. No need to operate on the mac yourself.

In some apps, particularly words with friends, the sound continues to play even though the volume is turned all the way down and it is switched to mute.
"change with buttons" is enabled.
Any clue?
its a bug on 4.3.1
ive got an ipad 1 and it does it...
even sometimes when i go into the dock and mute the thing, the audio doesnt mute..and i have to manually turn it down, then when i go back into safari, it still plays...
pain in the asss

My only guess is that the second one is a Bat Man ride???
Matthew
Nope. I can see why you thought it might have been Batman, as both the ride-in-question and Batman are ``inverted'' roller coasters. Good try.
Just a hint guys, from what does the said coaster appear to have track coming out?
Surely there must be Virginians on this forums. :D Oops, did I say where it was?

And here was a reply that I received:
"Is there anything wrong with it? Why are you selling it if you just bought it a week ago? Also...you only paid $630 for it. Nobody is stupid enough to pay you 1200 when they dont even sell for anywhere near that price in retail....nice try!"
It gave me a nice chuckle.

When I used my iPhone 3G I always used Opera Mini. It was faster on Edge and more pages were compatible with it than Safari.

95%, sounds like it was written about 3years ago, pre firefox. That number is about 65% now.
BTW, what does BBedit have to do w/ how your site looks.lol. You can build a site in DW, Golive, Textedit, frontpage, what does that have to do w/ the art or look of your site?

My problem with the video was not the careful choice of the words "Android Operating System." I have an HTC MyTouch 4g and the first thing it tells me is that I need a Google Account and that it can send "anonymous" information back to Google. Then within each Google Application that you install the permissions of the App say the same thing. So yes, I can opt out of all of those, but to say that the Android Operating System doesn't collect data is cherry picking. The Android OS comes with Google Applications that do collect data.
I have never assumed though that on a GPS enabled smartphone that my location is private (ever watched any TV show and you'll know that), but I believe that in this case, it was on oversight on Apple's part and now it is going to have to pay the price for that oversight. Sad, but true.

Sound cards, usb, firewire....Just wondering if I'm going to have to worry when I want to add stuff to my Mac
It's patchy and depends on the card and the chipset on it. For example OS X supports USB 2 cards with NEC chipsets on them. With Firewire it's another chipset. The best bet is to plug it in and see if it works. If it doesn't see if the vendor has drivers for it or google for it.
